time to slip on the Santa caps,

head out into the woods,

and pick our special tree for 2010.

We love our tree again this year and can't wait to get it up and decorated!

Our China Christmas Tree Project

For the last few years, I've wanted to decorate a little China themed Christmas tree for Alyana.

Today we started that project.

After a search through THIS GREAT SPOT
, we were delighted to find a few panda stickers, some glass paint , a few stickers of some lovely China girls & some pretty ribbon.

These are still a work in progress but I think with a little more "fancy smancy" work they'll look great on her tree.

I found the idea on this webpage HERE and really liked the little China girl christmas bulb.

Great idea. So glad to have stumbled on her page.

Can't wait to post the final completed project.

As I type this, it is hailing from the skies, the wind is blowing and there is a distinct chill in the air.
Santa comes in less than 2 months .....
Yes, soon JP, and the kids and I will be dragging our giant Christmas tree across the Confederation Bridge towards our new home.
Just makes me smile thinking about it ....
